Protein skimmer won't stop with the bubbles!!

We have a 65gal coral life protein skimmer and it won't stop producing micro bubbles....
We have had our 47gal tank since febuary and got the skimmer shortly after... We just did a 20% water change. And it took us so long to get the skimmer to stop over flowing! Now that we got it..... The bubbles! sooo many micro bubbles!! Ahh!
Help any1??

don't add anything to the tank you aren't sure you need. also, purchase a better skimmer. those coralife 65's are about worthless IMO. those things are either overflowing, or not producing any skimmate.
