Protien skimmer help...

My protein skimmer is not producing any bubbles.. Ideas are appreciated!! Oh I got it used and it was running when I bought it, was off for about 8 hours and has been running for about 2 weeks

Maybe it needs to be taken out and soaked in vinagar

They need to start out and remain really clean, especially the throat and the parts where the bubbles concentrate towards the top. If they aren't clean, the foam won't "stack up" properly. It also generally takes a few days for them to settle in.

Simple shot in the dark, but check the air line connection on the pump intake. Make sure it's not underwater, clogged, or maybe came off.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I adjusted the air intake and it seems to be functioning properly now
