I want to make a spray bar out of 1/2" PVC and have the parts, but Home Depot stamps these ugly red and black marks all over their pipes and connectors. How would I remove these short of sanding, any ideas?

Also, since this will go in the tank, and I want to hide it as much as possible, is there a safe way to color it black? Sharpie?

People have use Krylon fusion paint to spray paint the whole thing black so it will look good. Krylon is aquarium safe when dry.

If it's a SW tank the coralline will cover it up in no time at all.
A light sanding would speed that along even more.

It's for FW but good info for future. I happen to have some Krylon fusion black, so problem solved!!

EDIT - oops it's not fusion, it's what I bought to paint my light black. Will have to get some of the fusion...
