I just used my Python setup for the first time and it BLEW. MY. MIND. !

I ordered it last week and waited patiently for it to arrive today. I was so fracking excited that I did a PWC as soon as I got it unpacked.

Just a little praise post! I'm so giddy about my upcoming PWCs now, lol ??

I would not have all the tanks I have if it wasn't for it.

I second that !!! Just wait till you use a small pump instead for draining. I've got a Rio 600 or 800 and the rate of drain is crazy. And it uses no water.

How close does the sink have to be for the python to work on a refill?

For suctioning out its better to be closer but on refill I really find no problem on any length. As long as you have pressure, you're good.

There is a window 14 feet from the tank so that takes care of suction

My sink is 27 feet from my big tank and about 30 feet from my smaller tank. Both suction out and refill in a jiffy!

I'm looking at almost 50 feet from sink to tank. Does the sink have to have a special connection for the python?

It depends on the type of faucet. I also understand that European sinks are different but I don't think you'll have an issue ??

I had to remove the aerator and washer from mine, but the pictures and directions were easy to follow. Since I have several sinks in the house, I just keep one a permanent Python-ready one.

I should post a pick of my bucket lifting guns haha, it really wouldn't be so bad if I didn't need to go upstairs for tap water......
