UGH, My Python must have reached its self destruct date

Last weeks water change the on/off valve split in half(nicely hosed the floor down), so I bought a new one.
This week a fitting at both end (looks like the same part) split.

Water that runs through it is always 80degrees, and I don't use high pressure in or out. So I can't figure out why it is starting to fall apart, it is barely over a year old.

Wish the LFS sold brass replacement parts

You can get brass fittings at the hardware store, most likely. I've had my current one for a little over 4 years and have had to replace the shut-off valve once (that's not a pretty sight when you are filling!) and not long after I got it I replaced the faucet adapter with brass.

This thing has paid for itself over and over again and might be the most valuable innovation in aquarium keeping since electricity
