Well I've been looking at these because everyone says they are great but the question I have is how do you add water conditioner when refilling a tank that already has fish in it? If your pouring the water directly from the faucet to the tank then the water goes in straight to the fish with the chloramine and everything still in it right? With my bucket and standard gravel vac, I can pretreat the water.

Just pour it in before you start refilling. Most folks use enough to treat the whole tank volume.

I do it as the water comes out
