My Canister filter crapped out, so I've decided to go with a sump. I bought one off CL and it's made by CPR, I think it might hold 10 gallons? The guys used it on a 36 gal tank. Also I got a CPR overflow with
the number 50 on it.
......So I have a 30 gallon tank, and the sump will be about 3.5 feet under the tank, So how big of a pump should I use? Is there a good brand or are the cheapo ones on ebay ok? Thanks!!

i wouldn't skimp here. the cs50, which is what i think you have requires a 300gph return. after head loss i would say you should use a mag5 or a quiet one 3000. you can put a ball valve at the exhaust port to dial them back if need be. btw, the cpr overflow requires the aqualifter pump. you should get one of those too.
