Hi I was trying to find a way to reduce my 2 powerheads flow to something more softer, I bought them used but I believe they are two 950 gph powerheads and they seem a bit strong for my 40 gallon.
I heard that I could reduce the flow with sponges and I was wondering if anyone could clarify how to do that.

That one is not my exact powerhead but the cover is very similar. I would have liked to put a T attachment on it but I didn't know how I would get an attachment for that
