I installed my new reef octopus bh 100 yesterday. The directions weren't very good. They consisted of a diagram and nothing else. Since installing my aquarium has been filled with micro bubbles. I currently have no fish in it so I just have been letting it run but have had no change. I adjusted the collection cup several times but they bubbles are still coming. Anybody have this skimmer who can help? I've looked at a few videos online but can't get it figured out.

Sorry. Meant to type sock.

This is a weird configuration. You could put a filter dock on the return pipe to prevent some of the air bubbles. Out of curiosity- can you choke back the air intake?

The bubbles will decrease with time once it gets broken in. Every skimmer I've owned produces bubbles when new.
