And last but not least is what part-section of you sump do you have it sitting in?

No one out there has ever owned one of these guys before????? Reef Octopus NWB200????

I just ordered a nwb one rated for 150 gallons it says to keep it in 5-8 inches I think. I'm putting mine where the water comes in from tank, 1st compartment. Hope that helps.

Thanks. I finally had to contact them directly since not getting very many responses which I am kind of surprised since I have heard a lot of good things about Reef Octopus skimmers. They told me for my skimmer it would do best in 9" of water.
Thank you for replying.

I have the Octo XS200 which is the same body but with a better pump. It's recommended to have it in 8"-10" of water.

Here's an old pic of my sump with the original NW200 skimmer, which has since been upgraded to the XS200.
