Refractometers Vs Salinity Monitors

I've been reading and am getting confused between the difference. I was looking at buying a refractometer but now am wondering if I should get a Salinity Pinpoint Monitor instead?

I'm planning on going to Drs. Foster & Smith later this week, so if there are any there that are recommended please post link and let me know your experiences with them. Thanks

A good refractometer is good enough. It just comes down to calibrating frequently against a good refernce solution.
