Remora Pro w/Mag3

Just put a Remora Pro w/Mag3 pump on new tank. All new water and 50lbs. LR from established tank. Have lots of pods and macros and Aiptasias to boot. Slowly tackling anemone issue. My skimmer cup fills up in a day, even when adjusted all the was down, cup as high of skimmer as possible. The water in cup is almost clear. Is this part of the break in period? I thought the break in period just dealt with the micro bubbles.

When I set up my Remora Pro w/Mag3 pump It filled the collection cup up in about 6 to 8 hours with clear liquid a few times even with the collection cup at its highest level. I was afraid to keep it running at night. After a few days it settled down and now I am adjusting the collection cup so that it sits lower to keep it skimming. The micro bubbles settled down pretty quickly as well. HTH

Cool! Tanks has only been up a week. Just like everything else is this hobby I guess, patience and it will all work out (hopefully).
