Rena Xp2 Spray Bar Whistling Sound

I have a Rena xp2 canister filter that is whistling lately. The spray bar whistle seems to disappear if I reduce the outflow. Is there anything else I can do to stop this sound without reducing the outflow???

I had the same problem. The thing sounded like a pipe organ. I finally took it out and enlarged all the holes with my power drill a a bit one size larger than the existing holes. That solved the problem and actually increased water flow a little.

I also used the drilling method on my xp3, worked for me.
