Repair SWC skimmer or buy NEW

Thanks to all who chime in...

I had SWC xtreme 200 with sicca Pak-2500 pump.
Skimmer ran good other than it won't startup after power out. Now I found skimmer and pump full of groves and it won't start at all.

So options are buy new pump or new skimmer.

New pump; do I have to buy the same pump? or can I fit any other pump with this skimmer??

New skimmer; is there any other skimmer you feel is better and would last a long time for me.

Tank is 90 gallons with medium- heavy load. Have 150lbs of live rock. I do 10% water changes every 2 months. All parameters are normal so far.

You can get a different pump, doesnt have to be the same. Just pay attention to the gph, and make sure it will fit your application.
