retro lighting kits

Has anyone used the (Ready Fit Tek T5 Aquarium/Grow Lighting Fixture 48") or similar fixtures. Are the a direct bolt in for a single bulb perfecto fixture/light hood? Would i have to completely remove the hoods and purchase glass panels for the top?

It's for a 55 gal tank and it has two seperate hoods.

thanks Nick
