So I have an ro/di unit I got it from brs I have probably had it for close to 5 months and was wondering what maintenance needs to be done to it in order to keep it working.

The di resin needs to be changed fairly often to keep getting 0 tds

The membrane in the R/O unit needs to be replaced every so often also. It eventually gets microscopic tears in it.

membranes are usually good for about 1 year. if older toss membrane and get a new one. You can also use a VORTEX D-1 filter to remove silicates and other fine particles.
