RO/DI question!!

For a non permanent connection...after using, am I suppose take the water in the filters out or leave it?

Just got my RO/DI unit today and now I'm doing using it...

What i do is tilt it in my sink and let some run out so it doesn't drip in floor when i store it under sink. I don't think you want it to dry up.
