RO DI Water System Question

I was looking into getting a RO DI System. Im looking into getting this one:
Reef Aquarium RO DI Reverse Osmosis Water Filter 75 gpd - eBay (item 270587407676 end time Jun-10-10 22:45:06 PDT)

It says its 75 gallons per day. Does that mean when I reach 75 gallons I have to change the membrane or something on it? I'm confused by that.

No that just means if you let it run all day with the right water pressure (normally around 50psi) it will produce 75 gallons of water.

Correct. It will make 75 gallons per day at water of 50 degrees or higher and water pressure of 65 - 70 psi.

I notice there is no pressure guage built into that unit. I consider that to be important, but it depends where you live. My tap is below 50psi and in the winter gets very cold. I added a booster pump and now get the rated 150gpd out of my membrane.

it will also produce around 300 gallons of waste water, so plan accordingly.
