Can I use the waste water from my ro unit for WCs in my 29? I normally do my WCs straight from the tap for the 29 so I didn't know.
Basically is there anything harmful in the ro waste that isn't in my tap.

I would not use the waste in any aquarium without real numbers on it.
I have read about some using the waste for shrimp tanks as they require "extra minerals"
according to some who then translate this thought to TDS .
There is nothing in your waste water that is not in your tap but it is in your waste water at possibly a hundred or more times the normal level.
I would not use it in any of my aquariums.

When I had mine inside I would run the waste water in the washing machine.

I need to wire up my RO, so I can drain it to the rain water collector to use it to water the lawn.

Right now, its just going down the drain. :(

Pretty much the same here ,....I run the " waste water" outside into a 50 gal plastic barrel and that water is used for watering all the outside plants

If the 1000 gallons of IBC totes where empty I would running the water into them, but now it is running to the front yard.
