scwd leaks

ne1 have this prob?
i had to fix leak after leak for 4 hrs
just to get it to stop now it is dripping very slowly
pipe is 1 inch up to the scwd then put an adaptor to go to npt thread
then clear vinyl tube to the input of scwd secured with hose clamps
arrrrrrrrrraaagghh

Mine is fine and its been running for two or so years now. Its most likly that the hose clamps are just not tight enough to provide a good water tight seal.

my setup is just like yours
with the exception of pvc 1 inch up to the scwd then an adaptor to go to a 3/4 nipple end
hoseclamps are on nice and tight
but not too tight

well today
i got some 3/4 " vinyl tubing
and took out the return pvc from the pump
(got a replacement for the broken impeler)
put a nipple adaptor on the ball valve
and put it up to my scwd
so far so good no leaks
why oh why did i try pvc?
vinyl tubing works better i think (got the high pressure hose)
what a royal pain in the buttt it was
oh and found my air leak
