I have everything set up and when I push the blue button nothing happens!! 0



are my hoses too long? I've already cut them once!

what's that mean?! I gently tilted canister each way to try and get any air bubbles out

not sure but when I slightly moved it, it started bubbling and stopped.

It's a decent filter. I have the Aquatop CF-500UV version but it's the same filter. Periodically something won't seal correctly and water will leak, I've always been able to readjust it and make it stop though. Mine is about two years old.

I remember my problem was that tubing being too long.. once I trimmed them I could get it to prime.. also shift the canister front back and side to side

I filled it and then turned it on and then hit the prime button on top.

mine has been running for almost a year and not missed a beat. It does take ages to prime if you haven't filled it prior to reinstalling, and there are a few bubbles for 5 minutes or so but thats just trapped air working its way through and out the filter media.
