Shallow Well and RO/DI Unit

Well, I decided to investigate my low water pressure problem we've talked about. I didn't really want to spend an extra $100 on a booster.

I took apart the controls box, and all I had to do was tighten down a screw. Now instead of cutting on at 20psi and off at 40psi, It's on at 35psi and off at 55psi. Now my RO unit doesn't drop below 35 psi and what a difference! Also notice a difference in the shower. Nice.

Have you investigated why a shallow well pump is regulated to 20/40? They are expensive, I'd hate to think you'll wear it out in a few months, when it should last you years
