hi all..tons of skimmer questions, but can't find mine.I have a Sea Storm 75 by Sea Life Systems in sump.Tried what the store said..still too much waste water.Driving me nuts.No fish yet, just snails and hermits.Anybody??

sorry,not very clear. Can't adjust it to a reasonable flow.Too much coming out of waste tube on top where collection cup is.All it has to adjust it is the pvc "elbow" I think. Very frustrating.LFS said difficult piece of equipment to get just right.But the help ends there.

If you have the same skimmer as here, https://www.globalpets.com/SPD/sealife-systems-seastorm-75-skimmer--80004DE6-1233330738.jsp, it looks like the pvc outlet on the left has a union. Can you loosen the union and slide that pipe up and down? Lowering it will lower the water level inside the skimmer.
How deep is the water it's sitting in in your sump?

Thanks cc, yes that is it.PVC does go up and down,was told to do that.But it also pulls completely off.Doesn't seem right.In about 10 inches of water.I also paid more lol
