Then play with the air intake. It will completely change the amount of water vs. bubbles.

seems to be working fine now? no micro bubbles in tank? what you think?

didnt like how it was working, to make it work like in the picture before i had it in like 4ish inches of water and the manufactur recomends 6-10 so i decided to put it in 7-8ish inches like most people do and now its doing the same as before? toke these two to show u and its also relasing micro bubbles into tank again. ?!?!?!? what to do?

are you sure you are adjusting these skimmers properly? CLOSING the valve should RAISE the bubble level. OPENING the valve should LOWER the bubble level. I was kinda leaning towards Mr.X's idea of an additive in the water, however I think that improper adjustment of these skimmers could be doing this as well.

Usually water additives will overactivate the skimmer and cause it to start "foaming at the mouth" if you will, overloading the collection cup. This appears to be the opposite.

I'm going either towards improper adjustment on the airline or a faulty pump (if you're using the same pump on both skimmers that you've tried).

pumps are fiffrent from what i used on etss and nwb 110. how would adjusting stop the micro bubbles from coming out?

id also say that the venture fitting on the pump is either clogged or partially blocked but you've experienced this with the last skimmer. did you give this skimmer a thorough checkover before installing in the tank? if theres a crack or hole somewhere in the body, it could cause a world of issues. im still leaning towards the tuning part. I think you are probably adjusting it backwards.

right now its fully open gate and this is what it looks like almost like its skimming? should i run it in an inch of less water?
