pretty sure I've seen a lot of negative comments on it's efficiency. it's not enough for a 50gal either. 20gal maybe...
 
Unfortunately, as with many pieces of equipment, you get what you pay for. If you buy a "discount skimmer," it is likely you will get "discount skimming," if you catch my drift. :)

This Visijet is the one I was looking at myself, being on a limited budget, but through some good advice on this forum, I settled on the Coralife Super Skimmer...a little bit more money, but with some great reviews by people who have used many different ones.

That Coralife is very well reviewed, and the 65-gallon one will probably work well for you. I have noticed, though, that the vast majority of people on this forum will direct you to the AquaC Remora. It gets rave reviews, although it is much more expensive. Just goes to show you get what you pay for.

thanks for your advice.. and speaking of cheap anyone ever see the Jebo skimmers on ebay? looks to good to be true.. there is one person there that did leave a good comment altho the claims that were made about what size tank they can handle he didnt seem to agree with.
