Skimmer going nutz

The skimmer is bubble magus curve 5 and it going crazy filling with clear water after I change filter socks even after rinsing them under hot tap water and then again in old tank water

Do you use new filter socks or are these ones you have cleaned?

I've had that problem with new socks or poly-type pads, and it just seems to work itself out after a couple days. I clean my old filter socks in the washer, and old ones don't do it. I guess it's a byproduct of the manufacturing process.
