Skimmer upgrade

I am thinking of upgrading my skimmer. Not sure if it is just a PITA or what but, I am thinking of getting a new protien skimmer. I have the Turboflotor 1000 in sump on a 55g. Any suggestions? I have just read so much about how the T1000 is tuff to get dialed in. Just something that is on my mind. Since I use the skimmer and live rock for filtering the skimmer has no cost limit. I do want to have one that I can upgrade the tank later which is how I like to buy stuff eventually a 125g or a 180g will be mine!

any body using the AquaC EV-120? and has anybody upgraded from a t1000 to it? is it worth the money? Thats the skimmer I am looking at for the future.

Check out the Octopus skimmers. They are good skimmers at a good price.
