Smallest heater?

I'm looking for a heater that only needs to be submerged 4.5". I want one that I can actually set the temp for (not one of those that just raises the temp a few degrees).

This is for a 10 gal and I want the heater to be in the HOB power filter. Keeping a mantis so I don't want the heater in the display. I think 25W will be fine since I live in FL and it never gets cold in my house.

You could get a titanium heater and the mantis won't be able to hurt it.

I would try the titanium also. There are also some substrate warming cables that may work if you do not need much heat.

I may go the titanium route. Thanks. I have an el-cheapo HOB heater lying around that I might use and just slip a water bottle over it (after punching a bunch of holes in the water bottle). I may have to patent my "mantis guard".
