Sponge Filter Air Pumps

Hi,

I just ordered an ATI Pro Sponge Filter #3, with a stackable additional sponge. I then realized I would need an air pump in addition to the sponges. What would be an ideal air pump for this set up?

Thanks!

Then i dont believe air stone is necessary because too much agitation will reduce the co2 concentration in tank

Wait I'm confused. I thought the sponge filters require an air pump to operate.
