stand for tank?!?!?!

Are the stands from Petco and Petsmart Good quality??

Will they hold my 36 Gallon with rocks?

they seem to be a cheap quality, and look like they would collapse with alot of weight on them.

Petsmart and Petco are the only places around here that sell bowfront stands, so I dont really have any other choices.

any advice?

If the stand is advertised as an aquarium stand for an X gallon tank, it's designed to hold that tank. I have a 29g and a 20L on a chintzy fiberboard stand. It looks cheap, but it's held that 500lb of tanks for a long time.

this is the exact stand that i bought for my 20H. at the time it was on sale, so we got a wicked good deal ($85 i think?) is this the kind you were looking at? because i totally recommend it, i love ours. we don't have a bowfront but this stand was so much better looking than any 10 or 20 gallon stands we found.

I didn't like the stands available for bowfronts either. So I built my own.

Surprisingly, I have seen some of those really cheap ones outlast peoples DIY solutions. The only downside is eventually the laminate will start to peel off. But they will hold it for sure.
