Substrate

Has anyone used the substrate from Aquariunplants.com? It is supposed to be the best out there. It comes in a 1 gallon to a 6 gallon bucket. I would like to use a black substrate like FloraMax, but it only comes in a 12 pound bag instead of a 20 pound bag like Eco Complete. Any comments or suggestions?
Thanks
