I have a 200g reef set up for 3 months. Previous 200g in same site set up for ten years until it developed a leak.
Pair of clowns with cleaner shrimp and a carpet anenome for their pleasure.
Female fat, healthy, bully, clear eyes, no spots, no slime.
Last night suddenly on her side and "breathing" hard. I had just fed some of that thick white meat from a multi pack.
She was active enough that I couldn't net her. Assumed dead since I couldn't find her today.

Familar to anyone?

Can a fish take too big a bite and choke?

Someone else was also asking this question recently. Not sure if anyone gave a straight answer. Sorry I was no help but heres a bump to the top.

was the food frozen i have heard of food and personal through away some of my food due to it was unfrozen and then refrozen at sometime. i didnt even chance feeding to my fish since i figured there was a good chance the food was spoiled and i assume would affect my fish the same as it would me if my food had be allowed to unfreeze and then refreeze. just a thought though???
