Suggestions for filter media in a fluval fx5 for a 125g cichlid tank

Hi all, I'm new to canister filters and was looking for input as to what filter media I should use in which baskets(top middle bottom). I am very new to canisters, I bought my fx5 2 days ago. As it stands now I have bio rings in the bottom, carbon/ammo mix in the middle and more carbon on top. I don't think I need that much carbon but I had it laying around and had no other filter material since its comes with none.
