Question Sump help for 125g tank

I've been researching sumps, but haven't found the answers I've been looking for. I'll be getting my hands on a 125g tank off Craigslist within the next few weeks (fingers crossed).

My question is...what is the smallest sump tank I could get away with for adequate filtration if I run the canister filter it comes with, with it?
The canister included in the package is a Cascade 700 filter. Up to 75g tank (not sure why he only ran 1 canister) at 185gph.
