To sump or not to sump that is the question

I think I need more water flow
do I get a sump? canister filter? other idea

I understand the many benefits of getting a sump extra volume, hide devices, more water flow, ect…

I though of a canister filter as well (I don’t know if I need media, but I do want more water flow)

Any suggestions???
My current set up
90 gal tank, 80 lbs of LR, 520 watts of PC, Prizm Pro Deluxe for up to 300 gal, 3 penguin powerhead 300 gph each, Emperor 400 Power Filter,

A sump will certainly help out any tank. Sump gets my vote.
