Sump Skimmer Buying Advice
OK after much research I have decided to go ahead and build myself a sump. I'm planning on a 30 to 40 gal. sump that pushes about 700 GPH. I was planning on Protein Skimmer > Refugium > Return pump.
I was wondering which in sump protein skimmer you guys recommend? I have an idea as to which model I'm leaning toward (Aqua-C Remora) but I was interested on everyone else's input. I'm really interested in finding out what type of noise levels you experience on some of these in sump skimmers. |

I also use the Excalibur skimmer that melosu58 uses w/ very little or no noise to complain about. IMO I think it does a very good job and is also easy to clean the collector cup and easy to maintain overall.
