is there any way to build a sump tank with out drilling into the side of my tank =( i'm wondering if there are any other alternatives than having 2 pumps to circulate the water in which i'm scared of... its a 55gallon 4 ft by 1 ft tank.. glass. ugghh i'm such a noob =\

You can get a HOB overflow and have it run down to the sump by a plastic hose. That`s what I had for my 55 when I had it. BTW it`s not a bad question.
