Sunsun canister 302 review

So I was looking on eBay a few weeks ago and saw the sunsun 302 and after reading a few reviews decided to go for it. The filter arrived on time and besides the poor instructions was fairly easy to put together and the trays were fairly large. The flow is decent once you get all the air out of the canister. The filter is really quiet and when I say quiet I mean I have to hold my ear to it to tell its working. The only problem is I have no idea what the joint of dirtiness is lol. I hope everyone appreciates the review on this filter considering I've only found 2 others. So to sum it all up the filter does what it's supposed to and very well and for 50 dollars its 1/3 of the name brand filters.

Nice little review. I have the Aquatop CF-500UV which is a very similar model, I did a review on it but I'm sure it's been lost with time. It's been going strong for about 2 years now. The flow is pretty good and it offers 4 large media trays. I keep most of my bio media in this filter, hasn't let me down yet.

I'm running the sunsun HW-304B, and I love it, and its hard to argue with 525 gph, and ridiculously large media trays for $100

I'm wondering why more stores aren't selling these filters

They're Chinese filters, 'knock offs' if you will although they've made a name for themselves now.

Actually prefer decently, I read reviews about flimsy intakes, spray bars and baskets but mine is just fine
