Most people don't understand the diffference between MH and LED. It is so easy to get confused with the differing par numbers....

With the difference in penetration and coverage we have to really look around to make sure that we understand what we are buying before converting....

I love LEDs and am very happy with mine....

Thx... good info.... Ive been debating to try LED over one of my Cichlid tanks. Mainly because of the heat the others put out, it now being Summer, But also becasue of the longevity and cost savings of electricity and bulbs etc. I love my LED moonlights over my tanks.

I am an avid fan of the LED lighting for both FW and Reef tanks. The look, the temps and the electrical savings are all pluses in my book. I have been very happy with the LEDs that I have over my reef and the growth has been as good or better than before.
