T Valve Question

This may be a stupid question but here it goes... can you use a t valve to concentrate the air from 2 outlets on an air pump into 1 airline? I know you are supposed to use the t valve to split one airline into 2, but can you do the reverse?

yes, that will work.

You certainly can. I've done with before with dual outlet pumps so i could use both outlets on the same sponge filter.

Depending on how the pump is made you might be able to just cap one of the lines and achieve the same effect.
