t5 lighting

Does anyone know if there is a t5 light for a 20 inch tank

There are a few. They range from really cheap to really expensive.

Wow kinda outta my price range for a 10 g tank

it's easier just to go with screw in fluorescent lights on the 10g since most of the hoods are already set up for it.

I have a coralife 24 in, t5 24 watt. For 60 bucks at my lfs. It holds 2 t5 bulbs, mine are both the 10,000k, and my plants seem to be doing very well.

How much are the cfls

depends on which ones you get. If the hood doesn't have much room for the regular size bulbs, then you can get the screw in cfls made specifically for aquariums at most pet stores. Even walmart carries them in the pet dept. I think they vary in price from around 5-10.

In mine I use 6500k daylight bulbs and they are a few dollars each.

What is the difference with 6500k and 10,000? I use 2 10,000k, but I have a 6500k, should I switch back
