Tank Cabinet

I have a RIO 125, this came with a Juwel cabinet for the tank which is great, the Cabinet has a shelf inside which is nto reall y in the right position to put my Fluval 304 inside the cabinet, has anyone had any experince with this cabinet and would it compromise the strenght of the cabinet if I removed the shelf? I have seen pictures of tanks with the shelf removed and dont want to do anything until I am sure it will be safe.

I can't say as though I have any experience with that particular cabinet, but usualy a shelf inside wouldn't lend much to the strength of the stand. But you never know.

Can you take a couple of snap shots of the inside and post them for us to take a look?
