Tank leaning

Hi, I have just noticed that my tank is leaning ever so slightly forward (water level) should I be concerned? It's upstairs on its own cabinet (for the tank) Will probably move downstairs in about feb- march

Yes, it could come crashing down quite easily leaning.

Take a level and check. Is it on carpet?

I check my tank every so often with a level. Water level can be deceiving. Use a level and check all sides. How big of a tank?

Yes it is on carpet and 180 litres

I think that's the problem right there. The carpet. As it settles under the weight of the tank it will settle unevenly.

I think it's on beams and should I take the feet off the stand it is a juwel Rio 180 stand

i wouldnt take the feet off, its been my experience having a stand on plywood on a rug makes it alot less stable. I was going to suggest shimming it, but not sure how you would on that stand.

Leave the legs. I'm guessing the carpet settled. That's why it shifted.
