I just grabbed another tank from a friend who was going to toss it out. LxWxH is 24x12x17. I think its a 20g but want to know for sure. Thanks!

L"xW"xH"/1748 = cu.ft.
cu.ft. x 7.48 = gallons

Will likely be a little less than the calculation since your are measuring the outside dimensions of the tank.
