I have the digital sticker thermometers on my reef tank. Just wondering how accurate these are opposed to a glass in tank one which I also have. It reads about a degree or two warmer.

As you've noticed, they aren't nearly as accurate as something immersed in the actual water.

So better off just to scrape them off probably huh.

I'd leave it on. It's a quick visual reference as you walk by in case something goes drastically wrong with your heater or chiller.

And also depending on your tank size, if you have a thermometer on each end the water temp could be slightly different. Especially if your heater is on one end of the tank.
