Looking for advice and opinions on UV sterilizers for my 75g FOWLR. Do they kill "all" algea? I want snails and such, but would i have to provide all their food?

UV sterilizers kill all free floating algae. You can feed your snails algae sheets or blanched veggies.

have you used them? Would you recommend one? Or should i not bother? I want crystal clear water!

Uv makes a big difference in algae growth. Water clarity has more to do with the quality and water changes on a regular basic. If the lighting is good you will not have any trouble feeding snails from just what grows on the glass.

Oh yeah I do recommend them. I use a turbo twist on my 75gal. Reef . I did wait a week or 2 when first starting a tank to not hurt the bacteria.
