To wave or not to wave

That's my question lol.

I bought a wavemaker pump off eBay last night, but am curious if anyone has had success or failure with wavemakers.

What do you consider a wavemaker pump? Is it a Koralia type pump? If so, many people use them.

Did you get a wavemaker or a pump? The koralia wavemaker is just a box that you plug in your powerheads to.

I checked the specs. I bought it off eBay, and it is a 850gph wavemaker with a pump. I already have a 600 gph normal type pump

I was just checking if people have had good or bad experiences with these.

Thanks I appreciate the feedback.

I am hoping that it will help increase the flow around my live rock a little. I have some brown algae that is becoming a nuisance.
