Tv stand hold a 75g ?

I have been looking at stands for my new 75g and I work at a rent to own. Company and can get killer deals on tv stands but will they hold a tank full of water

Alot of old T.V. stands were made to hold alot of weight. Some of those T.V.'s were extreemly heavy, but a 75g tank full with water and accessories will be over 700 lbs. If I were you i'd just make sure you had exact measurements for tank and stand. Most wont be big enough for a tank that size, you might need to reinforce the top with 2x4's or some thick plywood so you don't have the tank hanging over the sides.

I would say NO. Too much weight for that size tank.
