Aquarium Advice Freak
Has anyone done or seen underwater lighting in an aquarium? I'm laying out for a new build and I am thinking about doing a standard fluorescent above, and building a custom rock cave on 1/4 of it with a build-in underwater blue light. I've seen some LED strips (like the flexible bubble wands) but I'm not sure if they produce enough spread to light my cave. I had various light setups with underwater halogens in my outdoor pond but I've never seen such in an aquarium...I imagine heat is the issue there?
