uneducated skimmer question

Finally starting to think skimmer.

I have a HOB refugium which is 25" wide (measured along the back of the tank), 4 1/2 " deep ( back of tank to wall) and 11 1/2 " height. Is there a skimmer which I could use in this refugium? I'd like to keep everything possible out of my display. Tank is 75 gallons, (running since April, fish since July)and I am just starting to add corals to it.

I have tried looking up skimmers on line, but it's so hard to tell what's the smallest space into which they could fit. Does anyone have one running in a HOB refugium?

I don't know if you'll be able to find one that fits IN a hob refugium. However, you can find HOB skimmers themselves. It would be a seperate piece of equipment that hangs on your tank and just skims right out of the display tank.

Something along the lines of this skimmer. I have no personal experience with that skimmer, it's just an example of a HOB skimmer.

Thanks, BillyZ, I think the hob skimmer will be the way to go. Now back to search the forum for product choices!
